General Outline of My Magazine

I feel as though font choices are vitally important in the professionalism of my magazine. Due to this, and the fact that I want my magazine to look as professional as possible, I have been spending a lot of time on the website 'Da Font' trying to find the most appropriate fonts to use. As I am currently still undecided on my final choices I have decided to construct the general outline of my magazine so that when I do decide upon my fonts all I really have to do is change the current fonts. Below is what I have constructed:

FRONT COVER

I have created a layer behind my model for the masthead to fall behind and created a layer in front of my model to fall in front. I will now begin creating various other coverlines. As mentioned in an earlier blog post, I am concerned about the appearance of her legs as the edges appear as wobbly. I am therefore going to print this page out to see whether it still looks like this therefore I will be able to correct this before the task is complete and ready for moderation.

CONTENTS PAGE

I would like an image of Jessica, 'Elodie J' to appear on the contents page alongside two other images. I am going to photograph a further two models this week in order to complete my contents page. As well as this, I need to create a list of realistic contents.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

Upon putting my article onto my DPS I have found that it is too short. However, as I would like to include another smaller image of a ripped up Valentine's Day card which links into the article, this may fill up the empty space. As a result, I am going to photograph this card within the next few days in order to add this into the article. I am also going to photograph 2 other items for Elodie's wardrobe recommendations, cut them out and add them to the sub article.
