Contents Page Construction

I have began constructing the general layout of my contents page on Photoshop simply using the rectangle tool. I have stuck to my colour scheme of red, white and black to keep my magazine looking simplistic and professional.

 

The 3 black rectangles down the right hand side are where I want the subheadings for my contents list to appear. Due to this, I wanted them all to have exactly the same dimensions and so created the rectangle to the size I wanted then duplicated the layer twice.

 

I have followed the flat plan I created earlier in order to create this simple outline of my contents page.
