Further Photoshop Skills Development

As I am not incredibly familiar with using Photoshop, I spent some time getting used to the various different ways in which I can edit my photographs. I cut these images out from their original black backgrounds in order to replace them with different ones. As well as this, I added a shadow behind my model and, on the first image, added a gradient onto the background.

I was interested in using the above image for my front cover as I believe it is one of the most aesthetically pleasing images I have taken. However, when I played around with this image on Photoshop, I realised I really liked it with a gradient background. As gradient backgrounds don't usually appear on front covers I believe this would make my magazine appear unprofessional and therefore I may further develop my Photoshop skills and create a neater version of the above image to appear on my double page spread as opposed to my front cover.

Due to this, I then began to use some Photoshop skills on image 4, which could appear on my front cover.
